Dr. Xie graduated from Fudan University in 2005 with a PhD in Pediatrics and Cardiovascular Medicine, and was a visiting scholar at the University of Hamburg Medical School and the Queen Mary Hospital of the University of Hong Kong.

Working Experience:

Chief Physician, Department of Cardiology, Shanghai Children's Hospital/Shanghai Children's Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Director of Pediatrics, Jinshan Hospital of Fudan University. He is a visiting scholar at the University of Hamburg Medical School and the Queen Mary Hospital of the University of Hong Kong.

Specialty:

Dr. Xie has long been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiovascular diseases and has accumulated rich experience, especially in non-invasive diagnosis and interventional treatment of congenital heart disease; he has rich clinical and scientific research experience in the pathogenesis and diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease and cardiomyopathy, especially in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of critical Kawasaki disease and research on the etiology of various cardiomyopathies.

He has undertaken many research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Science Committee and Shanghai Jiaotong University Medical-Industrial Crossover. He has published more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign professional academic journals, including more than 20 SCI-indexed papers, with a cumulative impact factor of 40. He has co-edited two academic monographs, including "Pediatric Cardiology", which is a classic textbook of pediatric cardiovascular medicine. He is the first person in the world to map the single cell DNA sequencing of immune cells in the acute phase of Kawasaki disease, which was published in Nature Communications.
